About Tradition Golf Club
Like to hit driver off the tee? Tradition Golf Club located in beautiful Pawleys Island, South Carolina is the place to play. The tree-lined fairways are generous in width and allow golfers the opportunity to swing away.
Fairway bunkers, waste bunkers, water, and environmental areas provide strategic challenges that make the course enjoyable to play over and over again. These challenges will also allow players to use all of the clubs in their bag during a round. The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Tradition Golf Club is dedicated to welcoming all guests warmly to ensure they have a positive experience during their round. Having five sets of tees allows players to select the yardage that best suits their game. Men, women, juniors, seniors, low-handicappers, and high-handicappers … all will enjoy playing golf at Tradition Club.
The 18-hole championship course designed by Ron Garl was awarded 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest in 2008, and is known as one of the best-conditioned courses on the Grand Strand. The Tradition Golf Club was voted South Carolina Golf Course of the Year 2001, Top Fairways by Golf For Women 1998, and nominated best New Public Course by Golf Digest in 1996. There is a spacious target style practice facility to work on your game; Tradition is also home to the Rock Solid Golf School. The Pro Shop has a great selection of apparel for both men and women while the Turn Bar and Grill is available for a quick snack at the turn or a relaxing lunch after the round.
